How fantastic that he is so involved and connected to the trees already. That's just brilliant! I love the Playing Tree.
I tried to climb a tree a couple of months ago, it's been about 25 years since I last climbed one in my teens.
I got a bit stuck and the 12YO and 10YO with me couldn't stop laughing as my big bum tried to get down!

Trees ROCK!

Thank you. We have so much fun naming and playing in the great outdoors. I just love that the kids (all under the age of 5) can navigate our woods based entirely on the names they have given the landscape! (the newest is the sliding rock- a rock they found in the woods that works as a perfect nature slide).

What a wonderful post. I love your Playing Tree.
I spent so much of my childhood climbing trees, the Silver Birch in the back garden were my favorites.
My children have their own favorite climbing and play trees too.
Children and trees were meant to be together!

Shannon, this is a beautiful post. I'm so happy to have inspired it.

What a cute little monkey, climbing on that pine tree. I think you have a future rock climber on your hands!
