What’s Happening …….. Wednesday
Rhode Island
My father has informed me there are lots of starfish along the ocean shore in Charlestown (maybe other places as well?). Going to the beach on New Years day might be fun!
Once again, the Coastal Growers Market is this Saturday and all Saturdays till March 13th in North Kingstown. (It’s really fun and if I can figure out YouTube I will upload a video of my son and me dancing!)
There are lots of other great things to do here in Rhode Island… I suggest heading outside to enjoy the snow; stay safe this New Years my friends.

Back Home in My Backyard
It’s snowing! We went out for a snowy hike this morning and found 1) a block of ice in a yogurt container, 2) some kinda old tracks from maybe a dog, or a cat, or perhaps a fox?… could there be a fox in the hen house? Oh no!
Snow is so fun to see who’s checking out our backyard. Who’s in your backyard?
We’re eating lots of frozen peas and winter squash… all homegrown veggies!
I am starting to plan the next year’s garden.
I am excited about life and love and all my little friends.
Thanks to all of you for becoming a part of my life in 2009…. what will 2010 bring us and how we will change the world… one day at a time… on child at a time… one hour in nature at a time?
Blessings to all. I will share my resolutions for the New Year just as soon as I get some more quiet time.

So cool that you grow your own veggies. That’s one of the things I want to try this year– I have the non-greenest thumb ever but my mother-in-law is a gardening master so I’ll have to bribe her to come visit me!
