Looks lovely! I can’t wait to get back to our picnic table for midday meals. It’s been snowed under since the middle of December.

We still try to walk my daughters to and from school most days, despite the cold.

Hi there Great Post… I am all for picnics… rain or sunshine, if its lunch it is outdoors!!! I have some very resourceful shade-seekers right now as we shelter from mid-summer sunshine.

I share that delicious memory of pb&j on the beach…it brought a smile to my face to think of that. And how timely…we’re having a break in the rain here in No. California and when I suggested a backyard picnic to my little person, she was thrilled. We had a wonderful lunch and then spent time both cloud watching and weeding. I need to remember that we can have an outside meal more often.

Yes, yes, I love to eat outside. Food really does taste better, and the scenery is better than a wall, usually.

I have to say that my suburban back yard is not the most scenic place to eat, which is why I’m very busy doing a garden plan to improve it. I don’t have acreage, but you have to work with what you have. Right? The sounds of birds and the trees moving in the breeze are always nice.

We’re such creatures of habit though. It took me 10 years to realize that breakfast outside in a Kansas summer is lovely, while lunch and dinner are not!

so cute! my kids love to eat outside. It’s dry season right now in Costa Rica, so we’re taking advantage (rain will come again before we know it and eating outside on a blanket almost everyday for lunch or snack or something. It is true that does create memories!

Love the TV lunch! We are lucky enough with the weather here in the Okanagan to eat outdoors from March to late October but we love picnics in all weather – even the snow!
